Pritzker College Prep Visits Rowe

May 4, 2012

AmeriCorps teacher from Pritzker College Prep, Mr. Cella, escorted five freshmen volunteers to Rowe Elementary School’s After School Program on Friday, April 27, 2012. Pritzker students learned how to facilitate creative writing activities during sessions with 826CHI. The high school students guided scholars from K-4 through the process of creating their own characters and brainstorming unique stories about those characters. Overall, was a great time. The volunteers showed strong facilitation skills and genuine interest in working with Rowe scholars.
