International Food Day 2015

To celebrate Day of the Child, which is a time to recognize children globally, each group chose a different country to learn about for several weeks. After discovering more about the country’s culture, Scholars and group leaders from the School Age Program brought delectable dishes from around the world to share with one another.

Create your own Waffle!

Breakfast in the afternoon was a big hit amongst the True Blues, Neptunes, Cubs, and Lucky Charm groups. Each scholar was able to pick and choose from numerous toppings, including strawberries, bananas, and Nutella. After choosing their favorite toppings, each scholar decorated their waffles to their liking and ate their personal creations.



1, 2, 3 Let’s Read Closing Ceremony and Awards

Scholars from each group of the School Age program ended the 1, 2, 3 Let’s Read program with a variety of lively chants, songs, and poems. After keeping track of their reading progress, each scholar was awarded a certificate with their total number of books completed by their group leaders.


Learning with the West and Glover Rooms

The West and Glover Headstart rooms spent a couple weeks on learning more about the world in which we live in today. The Glover room focused their time on reusing and recycling while the West room focused on buildings.
