Juniors Clean-Up Eckhart Park

The Juniors from the Northwestern Settlement were thinking about other children instead of themselves by cleaning up the playground area at Eckhart Park. ¬†While cleaning the playground area, there were positive comments made by parents at the park with their children. One parent stated, ” Thank you guys for help cleaning up the playground area. Your doing a noble thing and that is wonderful.” – Parent at Eckhart Park

International Celebration

All School Age Programs came together for an international lunch on Friday afternoon. Each program has picked a country to represent for the upcoming Day of the Child Celebration and prepared a dish to share with the other groups.Needless to say, the food was delicious and every child was excited to be apart of this great event.

Sing a Song of England!

The Extended Day students had England as their country of choice for the upcoming event: Day of the Child. In practicing their knowledge of England, we invited a special guest named Keavagh, who is originally from England! Keavagh engaged the students in an English nursery rhyme, Sing a Song of Sixpence, which involved a lot of singing and dancing. She also made a coloring page for the students to keep, which included the nursery rhyme.
